Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: A light, gentle nose with just a hint of soft fruit coming through and dried grass. Some melon, perhaps. Caramel.
Palate: Tropical palate entry with notes of hay. Salted butter and aniseed, marmalade... Soft plumes of very faint smoke.
Finish: Almond and pepper
This expression delivers aromas of honey and nuts, peach skins and perhaps banana sandwiches. Thepalate balances salty notes against the evident soft fruit eventually giving some grip from the oak as it subsides to reveal a refreshing, appetisingsavoury finale.
perhaps banana sandwiches
